Project Superintendent

POSITION OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for on-site leadership and managing all site activities. This includes but is not limited to; ensuring a production schedule, coordinating sub trades, quality and cost control, and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Works closely with Project Managers to produce a critical path schedule and solution insuring all required materials, equipment and inspections support the project schedule. Coordinates plans and specifications with field contractors and engineers while clarifying any discrepancies.

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of five years experience in commercial construction in this position. This position requires in-depth knowledge of construction means and methods. A solid understanding of all phases of the construction trades as well as scheduling process. Must be self motivated and detailed. As our agent to the Owner, this individual needs to be a goal oriented leader with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Project Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide overall management direction for projects. Responsibilities include: plan, organize, and staff project. Establish project objectives, procedures and performance standards. Maintain relationship with client, A/E contacts, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate construction activities. Monitor construction process through Field Superintendent and on-site visits to ensure project is built on schedule in accordance with design, and within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS: Superior communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills essential. Significant business skills and experience required. Detail oriented with cost estimating and analysis skills. Minimum of a four-year degree or equivalent, plus 10 or more year’s experience in construction.
